I asked my female friends, how they would react when they see a man wearing shirt without a layer of undergarment. Many of them said it's uncool. More uncool are men with see through shirts. When I was in Bandung watching small choirs competition at Unpar 2001, I saw a choir from Central Java wearing floral green uniform with see through fabric. However melodious it sang, its appearance annoyed me a bit hahaha, considering they were also singing a "musica sacra" song.

Speaking of see through, Jil Sander presents it nicely, combining silk outer shirt with plain white shirt. The Dries van Noten version is also cool to compliment a white shirt.

In question: Volume for Men

If men have to adopt volume, they usually focus on the "upperwear" not "lowerwear".
I have long slimmed down my long bottom jeans or cut granny pants into shorts. Even wide legged pants I consider voluminous.

Compared to what I think, Miu Miu takes volume to the extreme. Bottega Veneta does have a wide-legged pants collecytion but is too safe. all look comfy but just not for me, I think :)

Swarm of insect occupied SS 08 shows. I saw it at Miu Miu and Sonia Rykiel among others. Miu Miu's approach was the most favorable. It created butterflies and dragonflies out of shiny stones and wires. very cute.

But Rykiel is the bravest. I'm just amazed at how she puts dung beetle as head ornamentatiom and still maintains it to look pretty.

Well, nature and fashion can coexist indeed.

And of course it is a delightful sight. and for me (and most of boys i think), it is always a pleasure to wear shorts.
